We’ve been coming here for over 10 years, since the old location. Prices have gone up and portions have shrunk, which we tolerated — but this last takeout order crossed the line. For $28 (before tax), the portion was shockingly small — about half of what we used to get. After tax, the value is even worse. It’s clear takeout customers are not given the same quality or attention. The food isn’t bad, but it is absolutely not worth the price anymore. Very disappointing from a long-time customer.

This is our first visit to Jang Su Jang. Our Korean friends recommented and came with 3 couples. We did order popular dishes. The food was quite fresh, except it was not very tasty, bland. The serving staff was very friendly, couteous, and accommondating. Quick service. Very quiet restaurant, clean and quite nice environment.

Best new Korean spot in South Bay! We came for dinner on a Saturday night They don’t take reservations but it only took about 20 mins for a table for 2 - they have lots of dishes on the menu and the banchan is actually good

Stopped by Jang Su Jang in Torrance and the place was bustling, with only a few tables open for dine-in. Ambiance (4/5): Lots of natural light mixed with warm-toned lighting creates a cozy and homey feel. The restaurant has plenty of space, with tables for both small groups and larger parties of up to 8. It was lively and loud inside, but in a good way—exactly the kind of noise level you’d expect at a thriving Korean spot. Beautifully decorated and welcoming. Food (4/5): I ordered the Jangsu Bossam, which came with rice and two portion sizes of banchan. Everything was well-seasoned, with the cucumbers being the standout—crisp, fresh, and addictive. The bossam itself was flavorful and generously portioned (marketed for 2 but easily feeds 3). We also tried the bibimbap, which was satisfying and nicely done. Overall, both dishes were good, though not quite unforgettable. Service (4/5): Since we ordered to go, I didn’t get the full dine-in experience, but ordering was quick, friendly, and efficient. I’ll update if I get the chance to try table service next time. Overall: Solid Korean food in a cozy, busy setting. Worth returning to, though maybe not a place I’d find myself craving

This is a clean and spacious Korean restaurant. The arrangement of tables and seats is not very narrow. The interior decoration is very new. It is said that it was reopened after renovation. The attitude of the waiters is also very attentive and kind, and the dining experience is quite good. In terms of food, whether it is BBQ beef short ribs or seafood soon tofu soup, the taste is not too salty and suits our appetite. The 8 side dishes included also taste suitable, among which the apple salad is my favorite.
